The amplifier is class A having a smooth and musical sound. There are only two amplification stages ensuring low component count and shorter signal path. As a result this amplifier is powerful and musical to drive your high end headphones. This amplifier has a very low harmonic distortion (0.005%) and a wide frequency band (15-40khz). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>&#8220;Like all good solid state amps, there is no glare in the sound. This amplifier has two independent regulated linear power supplies built in, one for each channel. These power supplies are capable of handling a total of 6A current and oversized power transformers are capable of 25w power handling. This ensures the amp will not run out of steam even with difficult loads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Construction:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The front is machined from solid aluminium which is polymer coated &nbsp;for an attractive finish. The enclosure is made of 1.2mm thick texture coated steel. This special textured polymer coating is not only ultra durable but it is also scratch and finger print resistant.<br>Input connectors are gold plated.
