These El34B based push pull monoblock amplifiers are capable of delivering about 40 watts into your speakers in Ultra Linear configuration. 40 watts is a very reasonable power for most domestic audio needs. Even on 88-89db speakers you can play loud and then have some reserve headroom with these amplifiers. EL34 are considered one of the most musical tubes by most audiophiles.
These amplifiers are hand crafted and almost everything about these monoblocks is over engineered. Right from the power transformer, power supply to the output transformers. Plinth is made of nicely crafted thick Indian Teak wood which is hand polished. Base is 5mm thick high quality anodized aluminum sheet.

EL34B is perhaps the most musical power tube with excellent sound quality. In long term these tubes are not expensive to replace as well. All the above tubes have a normal life of several thousand hours before they need replacement. At the same time all these tubes are currently being manufactured in Europe, Russia and China and widely available in the market.
Output Transformers:
Output transformer (OPT)is the most important (often most expensive) part in any tube amplifier. Sound quality- as in frequency response, tone and power of a tube amp largely depends on OPT. Most manufacturers especially those offering cheap products cut corners by using substandard outsourced transformers but not us.
We design and manufacture all transformers in house for all our amplifiers. Push pull transformers like these EL34 are quite intricate to wind. After winding the transformers undergo vacuum impregnation with special chemicals and are potted inside steel enclosures. We use specialized resin for noise and vibration reduction so that the transformers last for decades. From start to finish the whole process takes up to 3 days.
Tube Bias:
Traditionally tube amplifiers had to be “re-biased” as the tubes ran old and their properties changed with time. Not Anode Acoustics amplifiers. We use Auto bias which will bias the output tubes correctly regardless of the age. You will never have to worry about adjusting bias in our amplifiers. Apart from that our amplifiers are designed in a way to ensure long tube life. We use the right supply voltages and do not push the tubes into too much power dissipation. Ample power, quality sound and durability of the tubes is our first priority rather than squeezing a couple of extra (unneeded) watts by overloading the tubes and making the amplifier unreliable in the long term.
Point to point wiring:
This amplifier is point to point wired using high quality oxygen free copper. That means each component in the signal path is meticulously connected to each other manually. The main advantage of point to point wiring is shortest and most optimum signal path which is often not possible using PCBs.
Inputs from RCA to the amplifier circuit are connected via high end silver plated copper wiring.
