This line stage stereo preamplifier uses a pair of ECC82 tubes- one for each channel.

The default gain is set to 2x for the best results. The gain can be customized up to 15x as per your requirement. We have made this preamplifier keeping in mind the modern audio sources the audiophiles are using. These days DACs, CD players, streamers etc all provide higher voltage outputs as compared to the old times. For this reason, there is no need to have very high gain line stage preamplifier.
This preamplifier can drive almost any power amplifier- tube or solid state. It can drive a 600ohm load- so that says it all.
The power rectification is solid state. Filtering is done in several steps. All high voltages are properly regulated.
Constant Current Sources (CCS) are used to reduce the distortion significantly and hence improving the audible sound quality.
This compact preamplifier is naturally warm and precise, having a big sense of dynamics. It will impart the desired tube sound to your existing solid state or tube power amplifier.
